ADTE by ETDA (Academy of Digital Transformation by ETDA), under the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), is set to launch the Digital Citizen course aimed at enhancing the skills of Thai citizens, raising awareness for creative internet use, and understanding online threats. The free training will commence on July 7.

Mr. Chaiyut Mitphan, Director of ETDA, stated that the ADTE institute, a knowledge hub for digital citizens, previously conducted a Digital Transformation course from May 10 to 12, 2022, which attracted numerous participants from both public and private sectors. Attendees not only gained insights into the importance of transitioning to digital operations but also learned about relevant laws, standards, strategies, and processes for transforming organizations, work, and business using digital technology. All past courses, including Electronic Signature, Digital ID, and Digital Transformation, have prepared workers and organizations to adapt to new work formats that increasingly rely on digital technology.

The upcoming course at ADTE is designed to equip Thai citizens for the future under the concept of "ADVANCE YOUR DIGITAL WORKFORCE: Overcoming Business Limits in the Digital Era You Design." The Digital Citizen course will draw content from the ETDA Digital Citizen curriculum, covering topics such as creating a good digital identity, appropriate digital technology use, digital security management, digital literacy, and digital communication. This course aims to meet the goals of ADTE by focusing on working professionals and the general public, including children and seniors interested in learning. It promotes creative internet use and awareness of online threats through knowledge sharing from digital experts, providing comprehensive learning materials to help participants develop into quality digital citizens.

The Digital Citizen course will begin on July 7, 2022, lasting one day for six hours in a live format via ZOOM. Interested individuals can register from today until July 1, 2022, at the link https://forms.gle/KfhPcoDNxS6WkYzF7 or inquire for more information and updates about the course on the ADTE by ETDA Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ADTEbyETDA.
